Basundi is an Indian sweet especially famous in the western Indian states of Gujrat and Maharashtra. In North India, a similar dish called name is Rabri/Rabdi. It is basically a kind of condensed milk by boiling on low heat until the milk gets reduced to half and it's thick in consistency garnished with some nuts.
INGREDIENTS USED TO MAKE BASUNDI:::
1. Milk 1lit
2. Sugar 25gm
3. Cardamom powder 1 tablespoon
5. Almond 15 to 20
6. Cashew 15 to 20
PROCESS TO MAKE BASUNDI || STEPS TO MAKE BASUNDI ||
Step 1 - Take a pan add milk into it and put it on gas at a medium flow of gas.
Step 2 - Stir it until it gets thick.
Step 3 - Add sugar into it and stir.
Step 4 - After getting a right consistency
Step 5 - Off the flame of gas and let's stay it until it gets cool.
Step 6 - Then add cardamom powder, some pieces of almond and cashews into it, and mix it well.
Step 7 - At the end put it in a bowl and garnished it with some cashews and almonds.

- Yes, you can call basundi a rabdi. Only difference is that we add some saffron into rabdi so its colour gets changed into yellowish. Rabdi name used in North Indian side.
